Service Description

"Pain is your motivation to learn healthy alignment, better technique and more efficient movement patterns" Kino Mcgregor. Are you in pain, injured or unable to train? Lacking understanding in key principles of movement, tissue tensegrity and multiple joints and structures all pulling their weight to move, control position and create / absorb force. These principles contribute to building a balanced and robust body, which is resilient against injury. Wear and tear from sport or unusual function can lead to injuries. Deficiencies in the body are the primary cause of chronic injury, tears etc. Analysis, assessment and correction of these deficiencies will reduce the stress placed on the body therefore alleviating symptoms and preventing further injury or continued pain. The goal is to teach your body to be balanced, allow an environment in which the body can heal itself and unlock your movement potential. We can identify common dysfunctions in movement, improve mobility and progress to strength and stability for any range of functional needs and for any population. This approach will allow us to create a solid foundation in which to build on and allow us to achieve our goals. After taking a full history, a comprehensive assessment will explore your posture and movement patterns to determine areas for improvement. We can then create a rehab plan tailored to treat and train each individual, this may be an intervention dealing with injuries or preventative measures to ensure efficient function in daily life. Finally, normal human movement patterns would be restored to allow pain-fee function.
